I use(d) my 5IT with the DVR docking station heavily for transferring videos from a DVR. Yesterday I heard a popping sound. The 5IT had burst open cracking the screen in the process. Very sad.
Does anyone know of a comparable device to the 5IT+DVR station? it's the best I've ever found for ...

Check the wall wart. It should be printed on it. Here's a decoder link.

ibird lite won't installl through appbrain
I've been trying to install ibird lite for Android. It doesn't show up for me in the market (70s 2.3.26) and though I can find it through appbrain
when I execute the install it silently fails.
http://www.appbrain.com/app/ibird-lite/ ... tbird.lite
Has anyone had any success with this app?
Thanks.

I also hate ads, but love 'free'. Clicking aiplane mode or just disable wireless when playing blocks the ads.mrkniceguy wrote:Loving this too. I have it running on my Supersonic and my 70it. Bought Angry Birds and Seasons (I hate ads!!!) and was able to install on both devices no problem. Awesome!

Ordered two of the cables Feb. 23rd, they arrived Mar. 18. Works with an old CyberPower 4 port hub I used to use with my Nokia 770. I'm very pleased.

Re: Deal Extreme Nokia USB host cable confirmed to work
I've just ordered a couple of these Nokia CA-157 host cables. I had purchased this cable http://www.newmp3technology.com/gen8host.htm which does not work. The micro male end is type B NOT type A. My understanding is that a type A will have white plastic insulation on the inside of the connector ...

Re: 2.1.03 firmware and WiFi quirks
Upgraded to 2.1.03 this morning. A couple of days ago I did the archangel rooting of my 70 and added setCPU. The process seems to have survived the the firmware upgrade. Both apps still work.
I am very pleased.

I was not aware of a channel 11 issue. Just switched my router to use 11 a couple of days ago and have had no problems. I used wifi analyzer app to select an unused channel in my neighborhood.

Re: how do I setup manual record
I am choosing Video Rec. Looks like the problem is caused by not powering off the A5 before putting it into the docking station. Up till now I've used it primarily for quick charging and viewing videos. Those features work with the A5 powered on then plugged in.

I have a 500GB A5 IT, 2.0.38 fw + dvr station. No problem playing videos that are on the A5, but I can't work out how to record. The s-video and rca audio cables are connected from my vcr/dvd player. Re: DVR station not charging A5IT
One power supply was good. When Initially testing I had used only the one power supply and it had seemed to work. When I pulled out the second p/s it seems fine. I should have done that initially. Hindsight. Gotta love it.AllenPapapetrou wrote:What about the other DVRS power supply?

DVR station not charging A5IT
I've purchased two DVR stations with intent of using them in two locations. Neither seems to charge the A5IT. Instead the A5 battery just drains when it's plugged into the DVR dock.
