I wonder when, if ever, they will fix the polls thing. Anyway I got the Archos, because I didn't feel like taking it from behind on a monthly cell phone bill just to access the internet. When where I work there is no reliable cell coverage.

I think that the limitation to it only working in the US and Canada, id due to the fact that GV only officially works in those countries. There are ways around it, I have seen post about it on the web.

Just saw that Amazon has the app for $2. Half the price of the Google Market.

Well did my first test of the app and all I have to say is that it is freaking amazing. It just simply works. Now with the first test the other end said that there was an echo, but I am sure with some settings tweaks it will work perfectly. This has just become one of my must have apps.

I would download and install Mort Player for audio books. It will bookmark automatically as you are listening, it will also pause and resume as plug and unplug cables from the audio jack.

Yes. Get an app called "Auto Rotate Switch" It will allow you to turn the auto rotate on and off. Rotate your 43 so that it is in landscape and the then turn the auto rotate off. Your archos will then stay in landscape mode.

Well the emulator that allowed HMM 3 to run on android was pulled from the market a few hours ago. The dev pulled it due to excessive crashes. So stay tuned for a new version and hopefully one that will work with our Gen 8 devices.
