Bought a secondhand archos how can I create a new account???

Hi folks,

I just bought an Archos secondhand.

As I want to buy the plugins and such for it, I need to add the device to my "account". Unfortunately the previous owner more than likely already registered the device.

Does this mean I can just as well through this device away again?

Who has got ...

using standard tele atlas maps on the 605

Hi folks,

Re: 404 reboots due to "bad spots on HDD"?

Hi there,

How can I best perform this disk test? The Archos built in option do not provide this method as far as i can tell.

When I connect to a pc I can only perform limited tests as I have to connect the 404 via usb.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for your help, it is much appreciated!

Hi there,
Sorry no solution, but my 404 does something simular.
