Galaxy Note 3
Ever since the A5A, I have wanted a small tablet that was also a phone. I purchased the Note 3 today and am very happy. I loved my A5A and am glad to have this form factor back with a modern OS and a phone. I am still using my HTC flyer/view on a daily basis, but this phone may convince me to retire...

Re: gamepad sleeve/case
The Wii U case fits very well for the width of the gamepad, but the case is much deeper than the device, so it tends to bounce around without additional padding. I am using an extra 80 G9 sleeve that I have and will keep the Wii U case for my Wii U.

Re: Where can i get a screen protector
For those in the US, I found another seller on Amazon for a different screen protector. http://www.amazon.com/Savvies-Crystalclear-Protector-Protective-Protection/dp/B00B32QDZK I'm ordering this one, so I'll update with thoughts after I get it. Did this protector work? It is $21 and will take 3 wee...

Re: Is Gen 9 a mobile DVR?
you will have to go back to gen 7 (I think) to get dvr functionality. Archos made the Archos 5 Android which is 5" and came in flash models and hard drive models. you might look at this http://www.amazon.com/Archos-501598-500-Internet-Tablet/dp/B004LLQ47M/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1350479005&sr=8-3&key...

Re: Kindle Fire HD Officially announced
I'm not a fan of the big bezel on the new 7", but I do like the tablet. It is easy to access all my Amazon content and I've been able to sideload most of the apps I use. I do wish it had microSD, but with dropbox and a wieless HDD, I am able to manage. I really love my 8" Archos tablets, especially ...

Re: Kindle Fire HD Officially announced
I have to say that I have pre-ordered both a 7" and an 8.9". I found that when I went out of the country last week that the Kindle Fire was the most practical choice for me, mainly because of the ability to download my Amazon video for offline viewing. I wish Amazon would give us an Android app for ...

Re: LIVE! - Firmware Update (4.0.6) - Report Bugs
So, sper56, you're saying this update it's fine and crashes on google play store, crashes on browser, crashes on youtube are just normal??? Don't know not even a one single samsung cellphone with crashes/restarts at all. And their tablets are stable too. iPad never restarts itself while doing somet...

Re: LIVE! - Firmware Update (4.0.6) - Report Bugs
I think that even I enjoyed using my Archos with all the bugs, what is happening now is that I am discouraging anyone to buy an Archos. To many problems we are facing, weak response and support from manufacturer, and the updated firmwares seems to create more problems than solving. After one month ...

Re: Does the GPS suppose to work without Intetnet
Used mine yesterday with copilot and it worked great. No wireless connection necessary. I have tried Google Maps/Navigation on several occasions and never had much luck, even on my cell phone.

Re: USB Flash Drive
Oh, I nearly forgot! Do you know if you can use USB 3 sticks in the device? USB3 devices are supposed to be backwards-compatible, so - in the same way that you can plug a USB2 device in a USB1 port - you should have no problems with a USB3 stick in the 3G port. of course, you won't get the same spe...

I streamed several hours of video from Funimation today. Worked very well ( a couple of hiccups, but I think was website rather than tablet. Output to TV through HDMI worked perfectly.
