I've also deleted some of these files by mistake before and they came back because they are part of the OS.
Apart from .avi / .png / .jpg wallpaper files, these are the OS files/folders you should have in the "System" folder.

Contacts (folder)
Emessages (folder)
emsgcache (folder ...

I think you have to play the file first before transferring over. (to do with usage rights or something)
