Asda are selling the black Archos 10 for £195 for a limited period. Anyone think this is a good deal? Not sure it comes with a 3 or 6 cell battery though.
Also, is it worth going for a computer now with XP on it? Surely Windows will stop support for it within 2 years?

Thanks brdystyls for you advice. Clearing the cache in Customer Assistance has worked and finally my Archos is connected again!

Re: how do u change the password for wifi logging in?
And where is that?
I've looked in Tools/Settings and gone through all the menus, but can't find anything to do with the Cache.

Re: how do u change the password for wifi logging in?
I take it you mean clear the web browsers cache? But I can't do that because I can't access the browsers options without a connection.

0000 works on my Archos and the device is now in Adult (unrestricted) Mode, but there is still no option to re-configure the wifi setting

Re: how do u change the password for wifi logging in?
This just gets more bizarre!
It wasn't in child-protection mode, but now I think it is! I haven't entered a code though, but now it looks like it's asking me for one. Do I need to get in touch with Archos now?

Re: how do u change the password for wifi logging in?
The option 'Reset Wifi Configuration' does not exist in settings on my Archos.
It just comes up with the Airplane ON/Off option in 'Network Manager'

how do u change the password for wifi logging in?
I've had to change the password for my wifi connection, but I can't seem to input the new password into my Archos 5.
My Archos tries to log in with original password automatically and then reads 'connection failed', but never gives you the option to get to the password set-up.
I looked at the PDF ...

Re: Is my Archos telling me my wifi is encrypted?
Sorry for the error in my post. On my Archos device via connections it says highlighted in green (WPS).
But looking in the detailed info it says: Connected to: wif-fi network WPA2-PSK.
So is WPS still on or WPA2 activated?

I've just set-up a wifi network, but am confused as to whether or not it is password protected or not.

Re: archos game packs
I also bought the product from QVC UK, but cannot work-out where abouts you enter the codes to get the free games.
For the cinema plug-in you get a website link to enter, which takes you to the page to enter the code, but for the games packs there is nothing.
I've looked at the Archos site but can ...
