Glad you got the Netflix app working. Maybe Acer will do it in a firmware release, but the tablet was already 5 months late, so i imagine they were trying to get it out as soon as possible.

I have to say that the overall experience is much better on the Acer than on the Archos.

I fully agree Allen, the thing I don't understand is the inability of Google to somehow control or unify the situation.

As in the case of Netflix not working on the Acer even though it has absolutely no problem running the app.

I think it's fine that people report their experiences when applying an update over the top of an existing setup. After all, why make work for yourself by reformatting your device, and having to reinstall all your apps, music etc, if you don't have to?

If I had to choose between Android tablet and Win7 tablet, I would definitely choose the Win7 tablet.

I'm not quite ready to ditch my Archos tablets yet, however, I'm not sure I'm going to try to get a Honeycomb tablet, either.

I've still got my A70S, A101, and my A5IT. My W500 came with the keyboard dock. After installing Tunein Radio Pro on my 5IT, I'm not using the Gen8s at all. I'm using the W500 for Kindle and Tunein works from their Web site so I could use it on the W500.

My question for you ...

$328 from Walmart with 5MP back camera, 2MP front camera, and Android 3.2 - sounds like stiff competition for the Gen9s and blows the A70S out of the water...

So, Harfainx, does VMWare View work with VMWare VMs running on a PC as well as VMs running in a cloud?

What I read at VMWare's web site indicitated that VMWare View was for cloud VMs only.
