Well, maybe I'm going to buy another device in the near future, that actually almost fully replace my archos, but it would be stupid to have an 605 that isn't working, I think I will mail Archos about this, see if the price for a new HDD is acceptable. How much could it be?

Well it's not actually dead, but the hard drive kind of is, It's quite stupid how it happened. I had my exam today and I was late so I was in a hurry and it fell. It had fallen 2 times before so I thought it would just still work fine... but that's not the case, the red HDD light will not light up ...

It would better but I got used to it, I just press the button twice, one time to switch on the screen and a second time to perform the action that is needed.

All my playlists created on the unit appears in an "Unknown" folder within Playlists.
The unit appears to reset quite frequently when using playlists ...

I WANT... screen & buttons to remain locked when stop/starting recording with the headcam remote.

Currently you lock the screen but once you use the remote it unlocks it. This means the 605 in your bag can have buttons pressed, come out of camcorder mode and you don't even know it!
