TONS of youtube videos don't play any more. They are changing their codec, yesterday I noticed that youtube videos are widescreen.

I think we need a firmware update. Maybe tomorrow none of the videos will play.

MP3 Gain is way better....

While playing music, the screen turns off... ok that's normal, BUT when I try to skip a song, the screen (entire 605) takes around 5 seconds and many screen taps in order to respond.
I hate that beacuse I use it while driving my car.

...Try a fast click on the power button, it's the faster way for me. I guess it may be something related with the touchscreen sensibility.

Not always, but it's still a bug.

Well, it looks as if the Asus EEEpc is the way to go. This Archos thing is just about one third of what the mini laptop is, barring the storage capacity. The Archos 605 is much better. Touchscreen, 4.3", better resolution, Wi-Fi, more battery, formats and maybe smaller, etc...
You should not return it... ok. it's just my opinion.

I have charged my Archos 605 many times and it seems that if you have the device completely turned off, the light won't blink.
If the device is just suspended, it should blink in 6 hours. (using Ipod wall charger).

For car charging I bought an Ipod (griffin) USB charger.
It works OK.
