Only reason I got the G9 was the fact you can add extra memory, cant so that on the Nexus.
I now have 38GB which with all my discounts and Nectar points I paid £145 for.
7" would be more pocket size I suppose but you cant have it all
180 pounds is 203 euro. i have been considering this one as well but: -it is 1 inch smaller -because of the hard drive it will get very warm on the back side -because it has an hard drive it is not as thin as an flash memory -it has no gps to navigate
i live in the netherlands, i supose that you live in the uk? i would want about 150-170 (we could talk about this) euros because new it is 200 euros and this one is new.
I was only teasing seeing as you didnt ask a price and also didnt put it in the for sale section. I got this the other day ...
Maybe, but its still not heavy is it? Its not as if it being heavier is loosing it some performance, that might be quite the opposite. As stated that weight appears to have come about from a larger battery, maybe they should make a lightweight version. Oh no,hang on,then the next complaint would be ...
I never understand the "obsession" people have with things having to be lighter and lighter. I would prefer a bit of weight purely because it feels to me you have got you moneys worth :D Also do people really walk around carrying tablets one handed, aren't most of them used at home, sat down with ...
Might be worth a try recalibrating it.
When you do it use something really small like a pin to press the crosses, the smaller the better and more accurate.
Tried ever since I got my Archos 48 to get it to 100% charge but it doesnt ever seem to go above 80%ish.
Does it take a really long time to get the last 20% in or is my battery meter just way out and if so can I do anything to get it better?
Thanks.
Yeah thats what I thought.
Going to stick with it purely for the amount of storage space on it but will get a proper tablet as well at some point.
Not an Archos one though
I just got a Archos 48 500GB which is excellent apart from the usual Archos hiccups. I downloaded some games such as Angry Birds which works okay but I can't zoom the screen out to see everything on the screen in one go. Is there anyway to zoom out the screen or is there an app or something to do it ...
I just used Paypal to buy it.
The problem I had was the link I was given to download it from didnt work after paying
Got it sorted in then end, just followed a different link that was supposed to be for older versions of Windows and that worked fine.
I have a Ipad for a while but couldnt get on with it very well. I am looking for a tablet to replace my PC but wondered if the Archos could do a couple of things. Does it support saving an image on a webpage my holding your finger on the image and selecting "save" Do things like Megaupload etc work ...
The FAT32 limit for that file type is 2GB,for VOB type files (using the cinema plug-in) that goes upto 4GB.
The file size limit is dependent on the file type, the limit is not 2GB for all file types just the type you are having problems with which is why the ones you have less than 2GB play okay.
Dont know if it did it before as I have only just got my 16GB flash version but the FM radio seems to lock up all the time for me.
The internet radio works okay just not the direct tuner.
Just to drag this one up again! After a spell away from Archos products I have got a 16GB flash version coming tomorrow. I recently went the Ipad route and whilst it is awesome its just a bit to big to to carry around for everyday use. Anyway to get back on topic has anyone here used either the ...
All done! Very easy to be honest, hardest thing is getting it apart in the first place without doing any damage, getting the screen itself out is also tricky without bending the faceplate. It is only held in with double sided tape but it is quite well secured and trying to get it out will make you ...
