BBC News 24 streaming

I found this useful little link on the 605 forum, it allows streaming over the internet from BBC news 24 and sky news, as well as a few others. It works a treat on the 705 too. There is also a radio streaming page for all the bbc radio stations. They all seem to work most of the time, but some streams stop, such as ITV now and again - copyright issues I think. Not sure if it works outside the UK.

Dont see why the 605's should have all the fun!

Easiest way to access it is to surf on the archos to this post and click on the link, once you get to the main page you can save it as a bookmark, just pick your tv channel and it will open a separate window in the archos and ask if you want to play the stream - brilliant!

nice one for finding this and to the guys who orginally set up the site ! Now got live TV/ radio streaming on the 705 to add to its already impressive list of functions.

Been away a bit so not able to catch up with all the comments on this site but does anyone know if theres a plug in for the BBC iplayer service ?
