Serial Number for 101?

Do you kniow the location of the serial number of the 101?
It is not on the boxand I cannot see it on the back of the tablet.
I don't want to take the battery out just yet as it is still having its first charge - is it in there?

I dont actually have one but i believe it's somewhere in the options/information on the screen.

It should be on the back of the unit by the bottom of the kick stand. It starts with PC...

You'll find it in the software menu under settings device info.

I have tried sttings and about device and I can find Product key and mac address but not serial number.
Any other ideas please?

I think Product-key and serial number are the same here...

Product key does not work for the registration of the device.
I still need the Serial Number.

My S/N is on the box as well as on the back of the unit. It looks like your sticker has fallen off. As far as I am aware the S/N can't be found on the device, just the product key.

Are you trying to register the device through the website? If so I had problems with that. I put the S/N and the product key in and registered it. For some reason it then put the same S/N in both fields. When I went to download the plug in it would not work as the same number appeared in the S/N field and the product key field. I told archos about this. The way around this problem is to register it from the device itself and it worked. Sorry if this is not any help.

What does it look like as there are some numbers but no stickers on the back or the box?

I have been trying to register from the device but it keeps rejecting the numbers I put in for serial number.
