Best forum for tech help with 50D Helium?

I'm a game developer, and our apps are experiencing massive performance issues on the 50D Helium phone.

I went to the lengths of creating an empty Java app, with this simple benchmark in it:

int m_timer= (int)System.currentTimeMillis();
float x=0;
float y=0;
float z=0;
for(int i=0;i<1000000;i=i+1){
x=x+y*z;
}
m_timer = (int)System.currentTimeMillis()-m_timer;

On eight other different devices (including some very low-end ones) this benchmark completes in 4-12 milliseconds.

On the Archos 50D, it takes 140 to 160 milliseconds. Twenty to thirty times as slow. Our game apps, meanwhile, are completely unplayable. But other games, web browsers etc run perfectly fine.

I tried to contact Archos support but since I don't have the serial number of the device (it's been kicking around for ages in the office and nobody knows where it came from), it won't let me ask a question.
