Was thinking of getting 10XS archos tablet til.....

The nexus 7 REALLY got my attention. $200 tablet with 12 CORES AND HUGE AMMOUNT OF RAM( like 20GB or so). There are even videos of this tablet going up against Ipad 3. HOLY MOLY!

Uhh, I think you need to check your specs.

Tegra 3 = Quad core (4 cores), plus a lower-powered fifth "companion" core (for power saving).
1GB of 416MHz single-channel RAM... not a bit more. Nothing special there.

The Tegra 3 has twelve GPU cores, but only four CPU cores.

Not to mention no micro SD slot, so no expansion functionality. Also check on the web and you will find reports of "slowdown" once the unit starts to reach it storage capacity. People with the 16gig units are saying that once they reach about the 10gig level their devices are slowing down tremendously.

I'm sure that is a probably a software issue that might be corrected with an update, but I do not know.

oh....well.....im mostly into this device because it is made by google. So you know it has ALL of the Gameloft games on there. Archos have such a powerful device but NO Gameloft Games. If Archos gets Gameloft Games for it's devices then i will REALLY THEN get the 10X because it's a beauty.

It's made by Asus... >_>

It is however, directly supported by Google (as are all "Nexus" branded devices).
