Google Voice, and SipDroid HELP

OK, here's what I'm trying to do:

1. Use Google voice as sms/text messaging.
2. Then set up sipdroid with google voice and pbxes to make calls.

All this i just want to use with wifi.
Yes, i am using the 43.

First I looked in the Android Market, found the official google voice app, tried to install it and it said that hardware is missing(not exact wording), so it couldn't install.


Then, I got the google apps .apks, (maps, gmail, youtube, voice, etc.)(also i forgot where), and installed the google voice apk.


It installed fine, but the setup is screwed up.
First off, it asked for "This phone's number", and sense it's not a phone, i just used my home phone. I clicked next, then clicked "Ask every time I make a call", then clicked next.

The next screen is called "Set up voicemail". I clicked next, and then it says: "We have a problem", "Your voicemail settings could not be loaded. Please try again." It gives you two options- Ok, and Skip. Ok just brings you back to the voicemail screen. When you press "skip", it just freezes with greyed out back and next buttons. (I heard the newest version is supposed to fix this, but i cant download the newest version off the market as stated before. And I dont know how to check the version of the one i have now, because i cant get through the setup process.)

I think once i get Voice set up, then I can get sipdroid working (but with my luck, probably not)

I'd like to bump this comment as well. The Google Voice app is no longer visible in the market even after performing the fix to get the remaining apps visible.

I've performed the market fix about 20 times now, and not once has Google Voice been listed in the Google Market. Somehow they decided it's not going to be allowed to be installed on the Archos 101 any longer. I have a feeling it has to do with the code they wrote to handle the new Sprint upgrade for Google Voice. When you have a Sprint Android phone, you have to logout and login and Voice actually behaves slightly different (it doesn't have to use those 406-xxx-xxxx numbers to make it appear you're dialing from your GV #).

I backed up the APK from my Sprint phone, and tried to side-load it, and it simply says Installation Failed

You need to setup a sipgate account for sipdroid. Then use that to Recieve calls. This is only HALF the work-around. Then you should create a boomark for the google voice website.. login from there and then place a "quick call" where you setup your SIPGATE phone number as the INCOMING phone number. It will call you, then call whoever you want to call will ring.

Ok... I got Google Voice to work from sideloading an apk, and it works perfectly for texting.. and i got my own number! But I downloaded sipdroid and you still cant set up an automatic account with voice. Then I got on their website (sipdroid.com), and it said that the "Create Free Account" button was removed until May 2011 because of capacity issues with pbxes. However, I got on pbxes.com and didnt see any plan to change that. Now I'm doubting that you will be able to create a free account that will work with google voice.
Now my question is, is there a way to do that manually? Or do i have to get a paid account to get the google voice trunk?... and if i do, how do you set it up?
I hope to make it call from my google voice number, but that my not be possible.
