Are You Happy With Your 605?

For the most part, yes! I've had mine for 4 or 5 years and use it mostly for Internet Radio stations... the biggest frustration of late is the change of a lot of web video fomats to mp4's which my 605 won't play because I CAN'T GET THE CINEMA PLUG-IN ANYMORE!!!!! I've followed a number of forum threads (aka Down The Rabbit Hole) about hacking the firmware to be able to use the plugin (which I have no moral/ethical problem with since Archos doesn't support/sell it anymore and doesn't seem to pay attention to loyal customers) ... but, it's all way too much bother (and risk of bricking) ... I'll go on to some other non-Archos device from now on...
