Cinema Plug-in for G9 Tablets ...

Post by vja4Him »

Does anyone have the Cinema Plug-in for G9 tablets?

I was wondering if it's really worth spending $14 US dollars .... ???

Are there Free Apps that work just as well?

Not sure where you got $14 from? It should be $5 for the MPEG video decoder, and $5 for the AC3 audio decoder... or $10 for both. And, remember those only work with the Archos Video Player. Not of any use for any other player apps.

If you don't have any MPEG videos, or do not have any .vob files ripped for DVD's (which are really MPEG video often with AC3 audio)... and/or are not going to be using the Archos Video Player...well, then you very likely have no need for the Archos Cinema Plug-in.

On my end, I have a huge collection of TV shows that were recorded in MPEG format, so for me it was worth getting the Cinema Plug-in. However, as has been mentioned, many people use the MX Player app instead.
