Newbie question (sorry)

Post by bendonahue »

Hello, I am new to this sort of thing so please bear with me if this sounds stupid.

The TV+ Seems like a really nice piece of kit, but I cant figure out if I will be able to transfer my movies from my PC onto the TV+ so I can watch them on TV without my PC.

Is this possible?

Many Thanks :)

The idea of the "network media player" concept is to do just that. The devil is in the details, and we don't know enough specs to know whether the Archos TV+ is the right choice.

Some of these boxes choke on certain formats. But I think it's safe to say that mp3 and Xvid will be supported out of the box. You may need to buy plugins for others.

Probably that it will also play DVD rip Mpeg2 vobs smoother over the Ethernet connection then it does with the higher bitrate ones using the WiFi, that's just a limitation of WiFi.
