Don't worry, I've lost some things along the way too but obviously they are not important enough to fix.

Audio files again seem to play all the way to the end, at least that is a fix. Video files still do not play all the way to the end, the last few seconds are cut off (still).

Can anyone report whether the autoreboot coming out of standby has been fixed?

And Chulri's root is already out for it. Very nice.
I guess it's too soon for anyone to have tried using the Archos 3G key with it yet. To me, that's the big news in this update (not that I'll actually use it).

Any observation about battery life? Mine seem to be draining faster than before the update

Lamer than this of what? You need to be more specific what your problems are.gibbo wrote:Dose not get lamer than this!

As I mentioned before, I had some problems updating OTA, probably poor WiFi, I'm not at home network.
I've downloaded firmware to my PC, attached USB and updated.
After that I had no problems. I had before some wake up locks on .19 firmware but it all works ok now. I don't use USB cable (host) for connecting flash/hdd/cam so I don't know if this is working.
I never had reboot loops, so no changes there.
Battery... I didn't have any measure to begin with, but seams to be the same. About day or two, depends on how heavy I use it.

Re: Firmware 2.4.65 released - report bugs here
To clarify.. I am not having reboot loops on 2.4.19.
It'a lockup-reboot after coming out of standby. So you pick up the thing after it's been sitting for a couple hours, click the button.. and then it's unusable for 30 seconds .. then reboots itself. This happens maybe 40-50% of the time.
Anyone else having this issue?

Go ahead and update the firmware: what do you have to loose? I update it and I did not have any issues even with the previous firmware. i did an OTA without any issues. So far nothing wrong I can report. I have A70 HDD upgraded to 1TB and it's all working OK.jasdjensen wrote:To clarify.. I am not having reboot loops on 2.4.19.

Re: Firmware 2.4.65 released - report bugs here
I had a few times problems on .19 when trying to wake up from deep sleep device would just sit with black screen. Than I had to reboot, long press pw bt. I think it's something to do with apps I installed (tried sh!tload of junk just to see what they are xD). Removed them, all back to normal. Than I updated to this .65, all ok for now.
edit:
What I h8 about market hack (market v3.1.5), I have gmail app, added 3-4 email accounts. Last one used is also selected when I go to market/my apps. Loading for ever then it shows empty list, then I have to switch account, wait some more until I get my apps/updates. Not firmware related, just market selecting wrong account.

Re: Firmware 2.4.65 released - report bugs here
After updating to this firmware, just noticed that I can finally set the fixed screen brightness to less than about 14% without having trouble waking from sleep. I can't be sure if it was this firmware or the previous firmware that fixed this, since I gave up testing it after every firmware update some time ago. But it is good to have this fixed now, as a min brightness setting is best late at night.
Thanks Archos.
Thanks Archos.

Anyone experiencing the jerkiness in Angry Birds and other games reported in 2.4.19? Hopefully this has been fixed.

Re: Firmware 2.4.65 released - report bugs here
I just rebooted my A43IT with 2.4.65 FW on it and fired up Angry Birds. It's a bit jerky. I can't compare to 2.4.19 because I don't think I have played Angry Birds on it in six months!nochedelmono wrote:Anyone experiencing the jerkiness in Angry Birds and other games reported in 2.4.19? Re: Firmware 2.4.65 released - report bugs here
Since the new update firmware says the archos 101 it will support archos 3g key, does it also mean that we can now use 3g usb sticks on our archos from other carriers like vodafone and surf the net??
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Firmware 2.4.65 released - report bugs here
No you can only use 3g Stick from archos.Because every usb 3g stick has its on drivers.overidemehra wrote:Since the new update firmware says the archos 101 it will support archos 3g key, does it also mean that we can now use 3g usb sticks on our archos from other carriers like vodafone and surf the net??
