What is the native resolution of the screen?
Is the battery user removeable and replaceable?
Is the hard drive user removeable and replaceable without any form of enforced lock-in? (80GB is way to small, should have been a 320GB drive in there minimum)
Any proprietary connectors requiring the customary dock farce...?
No sim slot I assume?
Volume level handicapped?
Few queries...

Re: Few queries...
The 9 hardware design is not yet finalized (we think). There are a lot of unanswered questions:
1. It's 1000-somehting x 600 or 800 (but again, not finalized)
2. I don't think so
3. Not revealed
4. Not sure, though USB is somehow possible
5. Don't know
6. Don't know
That was a lot of help!

From what I read:
The native resolution is 1024 x 600.
The battery is removeable, thus replaceable.
Not sure if the hard drive is user removeable.
It is reported there is SIM slot.

Re: Few queries...
Volume level can not be capped and if it is then a 5 minute crack will get around it, this is windows not an Archos OS.
Besides that accurian is correct.
