605 bargains at Comet

I just noticed in my local Comet (UK electrical retailer) the 4Gb 605s going for £79.99. These aren't advertised on their web site (I checked). The 405s are going for £69.99, but that isn't as much a price drop. The 605s are marked `discontinued product'. I wonder why
