Music Players And Battery/Hard Drive Life!

Hi,

I have been extensively looking for the best way to setup my G9 250GB Turbo & the main use for me is music & have been trying to decide between PowerAmp & Player Pro but have noticed devesting battery life! What I have found is that even though I have set the Audio Buffers to maximum on both (& minimum!) the hard disk is either on permanently or spins up then immediately spins down then immediately spins up & never stops this process! When I play music with the stock player the hard disk is barely on at all! So it must be loading songs into the Flash memory (RAM?) & playing from there.... Can anyone else share their experiences? I really want to continue with an an alternative player with loads of options! but not at the expense of a hard drive failure or battery lasting approx 3 hours!!!
