It says 1.5GHz but we know that can't be correct... Unless if that's the newly released.
It is also the new 8 GB Turbo model.

Looks like the new design. Cleaner sides... less space between the top and bottom panels

May truly be 1.5 after all
What you said is what I meant...Charbax wrote:I don't think it's a new design, it's probably just a new skew

the volume rocker is the biggest external giveaway of newer build models, compared side by side with classic, only real visual/ feel differences are: volume almost flush & flat rocker surface not concave, power button is a little closer to case and more solid feeling, sd card seems to be a little closer to tablet when installed, overall build quaility is a little better. System testing is ongoing
I have it now, 1.5MHz 512MB 80G9 16GB turbo (the same in the 101 is out there to) but potential buyers need to be careful if they go same route, please refer to my recent post on subject for more detailsSpilby wrote:Sorry, I don't understand. You have in your hands this new model with new design, or it arrives in a week?
This model have 1Gb of RAM or 512MB?
Ufff, there are a lot of types of 80G9 in the market... How can we find the ultimate version? Are there any trick to detect easylly if a tablet is the ultimate version, viewing the tablet? A button or anything. I see the differences list but viewing a tablet in a shop I can't detect what version is, if I haven't the two different versions near side by side to compare.
Thanks!

(I should of said any G9) As far as I understand, 1GB RAM models are forthcoming and not available yet in any G9.Spilby wrote:And what about Archos G9 80 16GB with 1GB RAM and 1.5GHz? I only see in amazon 8GB. But the 16GB version?
How do you find the 1.5GHz 4460 512MB?over's tab wrote:

*also, expecting 1.5GHZ 4460 512MB is not a wise move, they are rolling these out randomly it seems, they are out there (one is in my hands) but not advertised
First, ICS should be available on updates soon for any g9 (some debate if 1.5GHz & more RAM are necessary or better on ICS, (I don't think so)downunderaudio wrote:How do you find the 1.5GHz 4460 512MB?over's tab wrote:

I ordered one and it will be in my hands in 2days!
Should I have waited for the 1.5GHz 1GB now come to think of it??
I'm still perplexed as to when ICS will be released as Archos advised this would happen in early feb!
