My old BT headset Jabra 3030 did not work on my new G9 device (not found, hence no pairing possible).
I need a wireless BT-remote (functions for the music player (play, pause, skip etc.) for the new G90 devices.

Which headset with remote function is working?
Please tell me your headset, which has buttons for music player and that working on G9 device. ;)

i use that one, i cannot garentee it will work on the gen 9 but it works on my a5a, desire hd and my samsung galaxy tab with no issues (also works on a 3rd gen ipod touch that i tested).
i get around 15 hours use out of it as well so its pretty good overall.
the sound quality is top notch and i never get the drop outs i used to get on older bluetooth units.
ive never tried the fm radio tbh, i use streaming so not found a use for it.
another good feature it will sync to three different devices (not at the same time) one being a phone so it makes it nice and easy to switch devices.

My old jabra works on 5it but NOT on the latest generation g9. That's the problem. I cannot buy several headsets for testing the connectivity on g9. :(

I use the "Philips SHB 9100 Bluetooth Stereo Headset" with my Archos80 G9 Turbo without any problems as headphone for music; volume control and play/pause/skipping on the headset are supported. Sound and comfort are very good and has an optional 3.5mm cable for non-bluetooth use - it is not really cheap unfortunately. Also the BEEWI BBH100 headphone works including the controls (but it has an awful sound quality). Both are also headsets with micros but i do not use that feature. Actually I am surprised that you have any problems with pairing BT audio devices at all... Everything I tried worked so far: The "Sony Ericsson MBS-100 Portable Bluetooth Speaker" works as well (very nice - no controls however) and the Bluetooth audio receivers connected to my stereo from Logitech (at work) and Belkin (at home) had no trouble whatsoever to connect to the G9 (all these devices work also with my G8 Archos32IT and some phones).

The only drawback of the bluetooth audio use on the Archos devices (independent of the actual headphones/speakers/...) is that the BT connection and the WiFi obviously do interfere each other when video watching (if data rates are high) - hence WiFi streamed Videos stutter when BT audio is connected (not when audio on cable or on internal speaker) and even videos played from internal memory sometimes stutter on BT audio as long as WiFi is switched on and connected (same for Archos80 and Archos32). Might be due to the load on the system from the compression required for BT audio transfer...? I also read somewhere that BT and WiFi are controlled on the same chip in the Archos and have similar frequencies and might therefore interfere. These problems do not occur when listening only to music (over WiFi or local) over BT.

Hmmm.... That might solve my problem too... I used a Kensington BT headset (with microphone) and couldn't solve the stutter. I planned to use it also with skype, but that is obviously not going to work, because of the 2-way bluetooth transmission together with Wifi.

Tonight I'm going to see if my BT headset will be useful when Wifi is turned off. Thanks for your explanation!

Any updates on this?

I have Jabra BT3030 For streaming to my car stereo = slowdown of video & mass stuttering = totally unwatchable....also music constantly pauses for split seconds & stutters

I also have a pair of very expensive Jabra Halo 2 Bluetooth headphones with exactly the same result!

Both devices work PERFECTLY on my HTC Flyer, Desire HD & Acer Iconia A500 Tab
