4G LTE Wireless Tether Question

I have an Archos 101 and a HTC Thunderbolt which I tether it to using Wireless Tether. I also tether my laptop, which pulls (on average) 10 MB/s down, and 2 MB/s. The problem is, I only get (on average) 330 KB/s down & up on my Archos. What might be the root of this problem?
