That information was found on the three main chips on the bottom of the mainboard, underneath the metal shielding. They are on this picture, sorry for the blurry pic.



The TI is the bottom-left. Toshiba is bottom-right. Micron is the top.

tnt007, I'm still working out exactly which chips are which. I can't seem to find much of any information about any of them online. That's why I posted up all the info, figured someone else might have more information about them.

The M logo is of Micron Technology, a flash memory manufacturer. The 2nd line is FBGA code, and can be looked up here,

The Toshiba chip (THGBM2G6D2ABF19) is a 8GB NAND in FBGA package. More info and part spec here,

Relevant info: write speed 9MB/s (non-interleaved), read 22MB/s (non-int). In other words, a little slower than my Gen2 Kingston flash key.

For the TI, the obvious guess is that it's the Cortex A8, but that's not the chip in the photo. Go to

and choose your own ARM chip based on the features you want. For the Gen8, it's a safe bet that it's the DM3730

For the package marking, go to page 260 of the part spec PDF. In short, you should see a DM3730 on the package.

You guys are sneaky, and have hidden it, at least it seems that way.

I'll be doing a *full* tear-down soon. This time with quality pictures and I will find the CPU. I think I know where it is, but I have to get to it without breaking anything.
(This will likely be this weekend, so everyone is going to have to wait a couple days)
