Can the Archos 70 handle video in mts format?

I recently installed BSPlayer on my Android because it can handle more formats than the preinstalled video player,. I discovered however that certain formats such as mts run too slow and jerky to be watchable. Is there anything I can do to improve things, or is it simply a question of the cpu not being powerfull enough? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Try MXPlayer. I've been using it for a long time and there are no complains for "unwatchable" video formats or lags.

Just tried MXPLayer. Same as the BSPlayer I'm afraid, but thanks for suggesting it.

mts is, like avi or mkv only a container.
So it depends what is inside.
If it is choppy you can bet that it has to by played in Softwar.

What videoformat is in there?
