although I accidentally started dloading the one for the Gen 9 all excited thinking we got honeycomb because it said 3.1, then I was like "wait a minute, there is no A80 in the Gen8 series" lol
Anyone know what the 10.1 flash means in the change list?
I am assuming: If 10.1.XXXX is not installed, it gets brought in during the FW update, similar to the additional youtube app from a previous FW release.
I am temped to remove 10.3 and then re-apply the FW to see what happens...
the rotation problem still exists but seems to be more responsive.
yes the flash doesn't get installed if you already have flash installed. tested this out. i unistalled flash and then updated again and it installed flash, but it is uninstallable.
i installed the firmware . the rebooting loop problem that i had when i was moving from place to place seems that they sorted it out . Is good to have a staple firmware back . Flash downgraded to 10.1 automatically and i tried out with opera 11.1 witch is great by the way . Is working good with low res videos but don't expect miracles
I was hopping for more features like the ability to remove software buttons ... anyhow is good that this firmware haven't showed any stability issues yet but i guess we have to wait more and needs more investigation ...
I've installed it, with no problems. Fortunately or unfortunately, the problems I was having before were too infrequent and unpredictable to be sure if they're fixed by this update.
Only major problem I ever faced (knock on wood) was the unable to come out of sleep (not deep sleep) issue, I guess only time will tell.
An audio issue that pisses me off and it hasn't changed in this firmware... is that I have to change the balance in the sound settings each time I connect headphones (and change it back each time I disconnect them) or else all dialogue in movies is almost muted.

Is 10.3 still shown for you in the market?
i did not see a performance increase witht the firmware flash, i went back to using surprise 10.2.
10.3 is still in the market for me.
