List of Bluetooth tethering phones that work on Froyo

I have connected the Archos with a Nokia C6 through bluetooth.
It was easy and worked properly.

I can't connect it with an HTC hero

I'm having a bit of a problem with the bluetooth tethering, if anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

I have a myTouch 4g (HTC Glacier?) and have paired it with my archos 101. On both devices it says paired but not connected. When I go to cell phone tethering on the archos, it doesn't list the phone and just has "pair a device". Do I need to do something else first?

bluetooth tethering works fine with Archos 70(Froyo) and XDA Diamond with "Internetfreigabe".

Wireless Tether 2.05-pre6 (didn't work with other versions)

Works perfectly. Ran the tether option under settings on the a70 and it worked perfectly.

iPhone4 os4.1 works w A70 froyo flawlessly n to my surprise, the speed is quite a bit faster than I expect too.

I had some issues at first as I had to reboot A70 everytime I had to reenable tethering w iPhone4, then I uninstalled a pgm or two (which I forgot what they r) n I can turn on n off tether at will as it should.

Now really enjoying using my A70 everywhere on the move n my iPad is starting to gather dust at home n stop hurting my wrist, u know what I mean. Steve Job is definitely wrong on the perfect size n weight for a pad. Now I feel I gain one more arm, hand n fingers to use, ha! =D

Little "persuading" needed first by pressing couple times "tether" button but eventually did work.

I think that device doesn't support DUN protocol.

Any nokia from the last 3years (possibly longer) should work, iPhone with tethering allowed on the plan will work

On serveral XP Notebooks it works with no problems and with no extra software installed via bluetooth, but on the tablet: No way!

LG Optimus One works great with wireless teather together with Archos 101 2.0.54. With this firmware I can't use the cryptation option. This is announced to be solved with the new firmware update.

Has anyone got any blackberry with t-mobile or any carrier working yet? I have a BB Curve 8900 and I can get them paired but not connected. I tried the built in tethering under settings but not sure if there is any other apps out there that will work for this.

I've had no problem tethering my LG enV Touch (VX11000) with my A70IT

And there's probably a better way than this, but for people having "Paired but not connected" problems... I set my Archos to Discoverable, and then used my phone to find it and try to send a random file to it. The Archos picked up on it, and they connected. Worth trying if you're having trouble

And for Verizon people, if it doesn't automatically work you'll want to configure the tethering connection manually: the APN is "emgsm.vzw3g.com" and the user/pass should be blank.

I don't intend this to sound like I am an [edit]. However, if you post a note entitled "List of ...." I think that there should be an actual list.

It's annoying that to have to scroll through everyon else's personal experiances with their attempts at bluetooth tethering. I would love to see an actual list.

PS Many of your post rank among the best. I hope that you accept my thoughts in the spirit in which they are offered.
