Uninstall dual boot?
Uninstall dual boot?
Is there any way to get rid of dual boot and return to the normal archos function?
Re: Uninstall dual boot?
Just boot into avos and install an official or a patched firmware from g3nius.org.

Didn't work. Dual boot is still there...
Re: Uninstall dual boot?
You could probally install the Sde normal and then from there install Avos, or boot into recovery and try to install from there, or format disk then install firmware...but you will lose all data of your HD.
Re: Uninstall dual boot?
If it didn't work, it's because you messed up somewhere. Reinstalling an official or patched .aos file will get rid of dualboot. It will not, however, get rid of the rootfs.img and other *.img files. But those are on the data drive and can simply be deleted.
Re: Uninstall dual boot?
If you are running the official SDE bootloader installing an firmware from within AVOS will fail to overwrite the bootloader, kernel, initrd, recovery.
You will need to boot into recovery and install the firmware from there.

Thank you guys, I finally had to format the disk and install an original firmware. I wish two formats in a week not do any harm to the device
