Archos published the source code of the ARCHOS Generation 5

Hey guys,

i just encountered with this publication from Archos:

It seems that Archos revealed the source codes for its players on Feb 2007. The modifications the company made, are available on CD for 15 euros.

Is anyone familiar with this?

yes. posted here a couple months ago.

it is gpl code...they have to if they made changes.

but they dont appear to be required to put in other stuff they licensed.

They have to under their license agreement. Because they use linux. Thats why it works so well. No windows crap!
