705 turns on without being touched.

I awoke in the middle of the night and found that my 705 had turned itself on without anyone touching it. I had been using it several hours earlier and turned it off (in suspend mode) as I normally do. This has happened a couple time in the past and I asume it is something to do with suspend mode but can't figure out what?.

Any help would be appreciated.

This happens with my 605 Wifi. It'll be sitting there on my desk, and i'll notice out of the corner of my eye that its after automatically coming on, for no apparent reason. I was never able to find out the reason or cause.

yes, I think it does that once per day or so. I guess it does it to check the battery, so that if it is below a certain threshold, it powers down instead of suspending...

Makes sense.

Strange that it would need to power on fully, including the screen, in order to do it. Couple of times the light from the screen has woken me up at night

I read this thread the other day, then for the first time, out of the blue (at least as far as noticing it, I noticed my 705 had turned itself on this morning.

I made a similar thread about this. Mine turns on by itself as well...I just figured it was possessed!
