death of the archos tv

has anyone yet found a cure to the dreaded blinking red light on the archos tv. I know it is supposed to boot up after a minute or so . but mine has now died and has been blinking for two days so far. I've tried unplugging , resetting etc but nothing works. I have owned this unit from new, purchased may 2008 and would expect at least 5 years life out of the product. It seams that archos is not interested as it is over 12 months old. HELP PLEASE!

i had a similar problem and just perservered and managed to get it back to life.
