Does Archos only want to sell, but deliver no service?
I will not recommend it to my friends.

I Think they should consider making a link from ARCHOS to ARCHOSFANS.

Sorry Jacqueline, I thought that as you shortened your name on the first post to "Jacq" that "Jacqui" would be acceptable, obviously not.

I would not think that Archos would set up a link, due to the fact that it would then become "Official" when it isn't. They could start up an official one though.

The problem we have here which Charbax has mentioned, is that we see people on here that have problems. All the thousands of happy Archos customers are unlikely to look for the forum.So they would not want to link to this site and give people a negative view of the product. No Manufacturer would, it has backfired before with Apple when people run down the product and it gets reported in the press.

Hello SDM197,

Sorry for my harsh reaction, about my name.
Archos should at least use the information about working SD cards. They could not tell me.
And what about all those products at Amazon and newmp3, why not available at Archos. Even Bol.com has Archosproducts. Its a pity they don't have plugins.
I ordered a minidock at bol.com. I hope that then my problems with my Archos are over.
I found out that that if I charge him first and then connect him to the computer, my computer sees him.
I get it in march.
