I don't think it's a problem with ebuddy. Does your Archos normally make a noise when you receive notifications?

I have ADW installed and I got it working

I got it working. Just kept starting it up and tapping everywhere. About the 20th try I did a long press while it was loading and it started working.

P.S. fullscreen mode was set to ON

cellphones can also find a relative position by using the cellular towers (somehow), and also a few other tricks. But since the Archos 5 doesn't have cellular capabilities we are out of luck. You can only install apps in the apps partition and there is no way to resize it that I know of. Starting with android 2.2 (I think), you can chose to move apps to the sd card (if they are compatible), but we might never see 2.2 on our Archos 5's so I guess you're out of luck Sorry... If you use a home replacement app, it should display the widgets differently (possibly correctly).
