i write from germany, so my language setting on the phone is german, so for some translations i assume the english words:
- menu button/ system settings/ dual sim settings, then choose the register "card 1" or "card 2"
- mobile settings/ access point (APN)
- if you choose one of the options ...

Can you tell in a few words, what archos told you to do?

I´ve had a similar problem, a few weeks after i´ve bought the cellphone.
I turned off the phone and take out the accu for a minute.

Then i turn in the accu again ...
