Remember: lithium maximum charge voltage is 4.20V; charging above makes the battery catch fire; USB voltage is 5.0 V.

This really sounds like a manufacturing fault to me. 4 out of 6 devices with the same fault!


no, it's just that...

A repair shop I brought them too said they cannot re-solder the USB/DC jack as the connection to the motherboard is too weak and it will just break again.
right, that is! Abd it ...

Having dismantled my 101 g9 to effect a charging fault repair the screen only lights up dimly when I turn on now. It seems power is getting through but the screen is not displaying anything. I can connect to my tv using HDMI cable and tablet is actually working fine - but no display. Any ...

Eventually a solution for malfunctioning touchscreen!

I found several threads asking for solution of malfunctioning touchscreen: erroneous fingers detection, device lock, other issues.
Suggested causes:
- too many/low light in environment (!)
- too high/low battery
- wrong firmware
- bad mounting of screen cable
- bad calibration

My device locked ...
