Thank you! A. Taking the drive out is complicated or simple? B. Wiping all partitions where in win7 or linux? what program? B. After deleting all partitions what to create? C. Thank you for the reply! I have tried these options before. If it was so simple we wouldn't need all the tut's about changing and patching the FW in linux. What I get is the patched bootloader logo ver. 1.6.54 and then it goes to recovery mode no matter which fw I put there. In linux I can see that ...

Lost files ...

I was trying to change to a patched firmware, got stucked with booting loop (with the patched bootloader), formatted the hard drive from the recover menu and ended with deleted files in the hidden ext3 partition of the Archos 5 IMT. Does any one know where I can download these files to get my device...
