Could you please post some more details, like brand/type, about the cable and USB-hub that you bought?
I have been trying to use my Archos 70 Internet Tablet with a Nokia USB-host cable and a Philips powered hub, little success so far.

I bought an active 4-Port USB-Hub from Amazon and now nearly everything works an my A70.
It's a LogiLink one from the german Amazon page and I use:

For a few euro's I would like to give the LogiLinks hub that you mentioned a try, after trying many other devices ...

The following USB-devices work with my Archos 70 internet (8 gb):

1. Panasonic Lumix TZ-5 camera
2. Local retailer
3. Archos A70 internet

1. External powered LaCie HDD 250 gb
2. Local retailer
3. Archos A70 internet

These are the only devices I've been able to succesfully connect so far.
