I did a whole wipe out,
all good until I try to install root explorer,
clicking on "files" its a grey empty screen.
how to get to the apk i put on the memory?

PS Just checked the SD on my computer,
it seems to be totally empty...
There were supposed to be on it installed progz,
before the resizing of the partition

Second, after making the new partition, all the progz on my app2sd just gave a message like they were not installed.

I thought that the new partition made that the SD card ...

Big problems with
NO WIPE METHOD (NO DATA LOSS AT ALL).

The unit is rooted.

I have done all up to the ADB part, step 5.
I DL portable ADB from
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

installed it on win xp, and I dont know if I run it right,
since i does not fing my archos!

Hi,

I am a new girl on the block :| , I searched on the site but got no answer there,
I would like to know how I am getting around the 300 mb apps space imitation
and how I can format the sd card to archos file system,
that the 101 will not know the difference between the internal and external ...

I managed to root.
I caused the problem, by changing the dao file name,
so the unit probably didn't recognize it.

No good :-(

I installed, or at least I thought I did, from with in android both SDE & android firmware.

then I followed install the custom kernel + initramfs,
but when I booted, there is still no "Recovery Menu" and no "Developer Edition Menu",
so it means the SDE installation didn't take ...

The one I mentioned or the other one, UrukDroid 1.6 (Android) on ext4, full r/w access, su (root), SDE?

I am trying to root it by the [HOWTO] Root easily your Gen8 device [fw 2.0.71 - 2.4.81] + R/W FILESYSTEM
on xda-developers.
Got no answer there...

Got a problem, Cant even do the first step install the SDE on my 101,
get update fail message all the time.

Tried even to click the SDE from in ...
