Re: Availability in Europe (Netherlands)?

Possible issues with warranty is keeping me away from buying a tablet from the UK.
Think I am going to wait until it's possible to buy one here in the Netherlands.

Or does anyone know if I have official warranty here in the Netherlands when I buy one in the UK?

Availability in Europe (Netherlands)?

This could be a nice little tablet for one of my kids, next to my G9 101 classic.
Does anyone have any idea when this Cobalt 80 will be available in The Netherlands and what the price will be?

Re: Official 4.0.26 released - report bugs

Since installing 4.0.26, I often notice a lot of lag and App Not Responding messages. It feels like this wasn't the case back when I was on .25. The same here on my G9. It seems that every 10 seconds or so there is a lag of a few seconds. Can't really browse on the internet, because of this. Really...

Re: Official 4.0.26 released - report bugs

I also updated my classic G9 101. No problems at the moment. Memory usage seems okay now. Everythings seems smooth.

Don't know if the battery drain is still there because I put my G9 into deep sleep when I switch off my screen since 4.0.25. Maybe going to turn that off and test it again with 4.0.26.

Re: Firmware 4.0.25 Live - Report Bugs!

There's no real reason to change that setting unless you specifically never want to use an alarm. Instead you can just use the Power button as follows: Short quick press = turns screen off* (stand-by mode that really just turns off power to the screen*) Longer press (2 to 5 seconds) = causes a menu...

Re: Firmware 4.0.25 Live - Report Bugs!

I've been investigating the battery drain since 4.0.25 now for one day with BetterBatteryStats. And it seems that every half hour or so the G9 awakes at the CPU state of 300Mhz, wifi starts and goes to sleep again after a short period. Not sure what proces causes this, but it seems it's the Google s...

Re: Firmware 4.0.25 Live - Report Bugs!

I have used 4.0.24 without any problems. But since updating to 4.0.25 I've got the following issues: - One in a while the tablet freezes and restarts. Haven't had this in a longggg time, but it's back since 4.0.25 - There's a real battery drain somewhere. Doing nothing with the tablet and the batter...

Re: LIVE! - Firmware Update (4.0.7) - Report Bugs

When using 4.0.5 my G9 had a single reboot on an avarage night using it. When using 4.0.6 my G9 sometimes had a few reboots per hour.
Last night I tried with 4.0.7 and it didn't lock up at all. Hope it stays this way. :D
And yes it's a bit more smooth overall now. Finally a more stable firmware?

Re: Firmware 4.0.5 - report bugs here

I'm still using 4.0.4 (a bit scared to go to 4.0.5 because wifi is working fine now, don't fix things if it ain't broken) and not having problems with disconnection on wifi. But it looks like the wifi signal is a bit weaker compared to 3.2.80. But I had a few times now that when I charged my 101 G9 ...

Re: Xbox gamepad support

I'm interested too in this. Would be nice, playing games on a big television using HDMI and a Xbox controller. Guess this is about the Xbox360 controller and not the Xbox1 controller? Xbox360 wired controllers are using an USB port, right? And wireless controllers also use the USB port for the trans...

Re: Firmware 4.04 released - report bugs here

No problems here with the speed. And i did not do any reformat, just downloaded the update manually and installed it. Maybe it's a specific app that causes the slow speed? And the app of course is gone after doing a reformat. I had one freeze followed by a reboot until now using ICS. No other proble...

Harfainx, what screen protector are you using? I'm intended also to buy one, because sometime I get crazy from all the fingerprints and glare.

Re: Archos 80 G9 Calibre Library Transfer

What ereader software are you using on your G9?
I'm using Kindle and there's a Kindle folder to put the .mobi files in.
I'm only using Calibre for converting, don't know if it connects to the G9, so I'm copying the files by myself.

The G9 has only one speaker so you won't need a mixer unless you are using it with headphones.

Re: Cases for the 101 G9

I just ordered this case on eBay. I think it's the same as the one from Amazon that is reviewed in this topic on the first page.

I guess it will take a while before I receive it, but it seems a nice case to me.
