Are these still for sale?

It's been a while since I had a archos or arnova tablet in my hands.

I have no clue how to manage the homescreens on a out of the box clean Arnova 9 G3. How do I delete a complete homescreen or add one ?
How do I choose which one is default ?
Without using 3rd party software like NOVA etc. please.

Also I am searching ebay for a second charger for the Titanium 80 : Look for HNC050200X and you'll find a 5V 2A charger with Plug 2.5mm x 0.8mm (Smallest Possible Connection Size)

Titanium 80 doesn't have appaling build quality in my opinion. The buttons are plastic but they work fine.
My only frustration is the short cable from the charger and that it doesn't load by usb.
Else quality/price ratio is excellent and I like the 4:3 screen

It's an absolute perfect fit. I have several shocksocks already for several Samsung ...

Weird, there is no .28 available when I check system updates

I have indexing problems with 4.0.26 that crash my 101g9 after 5 minutes from startup. Likely because I have a directory on sd with thousands of small files. It didn't crash with the older Firmware before 4.0.24
Is Archos aware of this problem?
Does 4.0.28 solve it?

Have you tried connecting the tablet to your pc? This sometimes helps with weird behaviour.

Give this a try ;
Push and keep the power button pushed for at least 20 or 30 seconds.
Else, keep the volume button and power button pushed simultaneously for 20 seconds, or until the machine reboots.
If that doesn't help repeat but make sure no sdcard inserted.

Has somebody found a solution ? Battery Booster doesn't help for me.

Is there a file that I could edit where the mac address is kept ? or easier still, an app, that would allow me to change the mac address ? I have no access to appslib because no wifi.

I tend to agree. Opera crashed my G9 also, for the moment I have not installed opera, just using the build in browser and my device is very stable with ICS 4.0.5

8 GB RAM is the classic model not the turbo
16 GB RAM is turbo

Also the turbo 1.5 101 G9 that you get NOW in europe is with 512 MB RAM even if you upgrade to ICS! I know because I sent one back. OMAP 4460

The model with 1 GB G9 101 and ICS preinstalled will be ...

still waiting for them to pop up on amazon.de -.- this waiting is a bummer if u know that they are avaible somewhere but not where u want to buy them...

I noticed however that the ICS 4.0.5 cured the cursor problem.

I might also switch to a G9 80. When I'm sure things are ok. For instance do you notice the often described screen problem when holding ...

I have received my G9 1.5 Ghz just on the day that ICS was released for it. Before I had a Archos 70b ereader and I also bought the Archos 101 G8 for my mother. I also have a Samsumg Galaxy smartphone. I am therefore used to android behavior.

What I first noticed was that the keyboard did not react ...

I received my G9 101 (omap4460) just last friday. A 1.5 Ghz, 512 RAM. I was in the understanding that I would get 1.2Ghz and 1 GB RAM. Very weird situation.

I noticed that some applications are blocked from the market (like zdbox and amazon mobile).
Why does archos block such simple apps ?
