Sorry I can't help further. The version of CoPilot 8 (v.504) I modded does not come up with the IMEI error, that only started after the v.509 update.

If you originally bought and installed v.509, it is possible CoPilot changed their authorisation numbering procedure when they released that update ...

I think you have missed the point.

CoPilot was advertised as being able to be used on the Archos 70.

People bought it for that reason.

The latest CoPilot update no longer works on the Archos series, they will not supply the previous version that did work, and have withdrawn support for the Archos ...

1. They have removed Archos devices from their compatablity list, and are implying they were never supported. I know they were shown as compatible up to a week ago.
