I upgraded to the latest version of the firmware and it did get the video camera working. But the sound quality was really bad - very garbled. I will try it from some other locations to see how it works.

I have been trying to use Skype on my Archos 70. It works fine for audio and for seeing the video from the person I am talking to, but it doesn't seem to recognize my video camera to show me to the person I am talking to.

I have enabled video calling but I can't get it to work. Has anyone else got ...

I really like my 8GB Archos 70. Put a bunch of music and videos on the SD card and I like the stock player that comes with it. But I can't seem to figure out how to make playlists, either on the device itself or in Windows Media Player to move over.

Any tips?

I used it, modded it, installed oodles of apps and after seeing the Acer at BB, had to replace it.
Sorry Archos, I had to do it. I have to admit though, I have an A70 I am keeping and the A101 was without a doubt a good concept. I think the screen and the memory really made it fall down.

Make sure it is fully inserted in the correct orientation. That is with the gold tabs facing the screen of the device. The sd card may be difficult to install the first few times on a brand new device. Use a fingernail or other thin object to "click it in" Note that if the card does not click in it ...

I received my Archos 70 yesterday and I am loving it.

One problem though. I have a 2GB micro SD card and inserted it into the Archos 70 and it doesn't seem to recognize it. It works find when I try it in my laptop.

Any ideas?
