Have read through the posts on XDA, but wondered if anyone had managed to get the new sky-go app working.

I've got the 250 "v1", but am tempted by the 8gb - I know i've got a spare microSD kicking about somewhere.
I tend to access most of my music on spotify, and could do this on the go by tethering to my HTC WFS.

Archos themselves had reduced their range to the G9 8" & 10" ( I don't consider Arnova's or readers ) but thankfully, in response to a clamouring from existing 7" owners, have decided to revamp the A70 and keep it in production. Installed yesterday
Had to download from the website - didn't appear as an OTA update.

No issues so far, and did a suspend over night last night.
Was 65% battery and woke up to 63%.
Perhaps this is finally fixed!!

Have had no problems with Archos 70 250HD after latest update
I've always updated firmware, but usually a couple of weeks after it's released.
1 added bonus this time too - the 70 had stopped showing up on the web version of android market and is back after upgrading to 2.4.80

My Archos 70 is back in the web market after upgrading to latest firmware (.80) - Thinking back it probably stopped showing up when I upgraded to firmware .65

I'm having the same issues too, but like others I can still download new appsfrom the market on the Archos 70, and download & install updates to old apps.

Thanks to 2.4.19 I think my archos 70 (250HD) is running better than ever.
Have previously upgraded by sideloading firmware updates, but used the OTA version this time and it was a painless experience.

Thanks to all the guys who gave this a go first and convinced me to upgrade.

Just noticed an update to ArcTools on AppsLib. Couple of questions

Will this give me the market update outlined here?
Is the new market any faster than the 3.?? I already have?

Updated to the latest firmware about 3 hours ago, and no problems so far.

Still have flash 10.3, and no sign of 10.1, so don't know how I avoided that.
Was running on the previous version of FW (2.3.26), and this new one does seem to have made it more responsive.

I think i'm right in saying that the archos 5 is a different system, but it's not supported by iplayer - it may be in the future. I seem to remember reading it's a DRM issue.

I've noticed this too.
Seems to be when trying to play a playlist with a lot of tracks, or shuffling all.
Doesn't seem to be an issue with the party shuffle mode.
Haven't found the max number of tracks. I know 1000 is too many and 30 is fine.

Half solved my own problem after a bit of a battle.
Go to http://m.grppl.com/g/4097/mathscard on the archos, it will detect android and offer you the apk.

Has anyone any ideas how I can get this https://market.android.com/details?id=com.grppl.android.shell.CMBmathscard to install, and why it isn't compatible with the Archos70.

On a similar note - anyone had any joy with the Zoopla app?
