did anyone end up making a wired remote from the travel doc or straight from the archos 504? I simply need recored/pause and/or stop capabilities.

I am using the archos as an onboard recorder with Steadicam film work. I would love to be able to record and stop remotely via cable trigger, making it an automated process. Does anyone have any know how for this purpose.
