Ah you didn't have alsa-utils installed.

That was one of the first things I installed.

but what's the purpose of editing load_alsa_modules.sh??

I've sound working without doing that...

(I used the gen8 guide for sound)

which "android modules did you have luck with, the ones extracted via aos-utils or openaos android modules tarball? The android ones, if I need modules I generally pick the android ones cause if they under android they usually also work with other OS'es (with some tweaking and other modules). Also,...

did you take the ones from android and not the ones of angstrom??
I am using the android ones...

sometimes something works on this device and sometimes it doesn't. :|

I'm using the openaos multiroot kernel. The screen does calibrate but not normal. I inserted some modules from android and now alsamixer works. I've a problem with sound:

ts_calibrate doesn't work very well I have to touch the screen a centimeter of the edges....
but that is not very important...

touchscreen works but doesn't save calibration settings... It loads up your calibration data when restarted, penguinrepair... has this something to do with /etc/pointercal?? it seems it prefers that above touchcal; and xinput_calibrator seems only to calibrate touchcal. also I have to use xinput_cal...

I ssh'd to the device via wifi but Xorg says this:

DISPLAY=:0.0 xinput_calibrator -v
selected device is not a touchscreen I understand

How can i solve this??

well at least i have acces now, and wifi!

I have an enlightenment language screen but can't do anything, tslib is installed but touchscreen is not working.
I can't ssh to the device. not with the sde not with meego not with debian...
dhcp seems to fail...
even if I disable g_ether I can't use usb mouse/keyboards...
I need some help...

I' ve made a backup already, the touchscreen isn't responding at all, is this due it isn't callibrated or are some modules not loaded? Also is it possible to connect an usb keyboard? I will erase my root password to see if that helps with ssh.... ( the password does work... only not with usb0, I don...

I tried with ssh to log in:

192.168.0.200 doesn't accept my password. (usb0)
192.168.1.107 does. (wifi)
169.254.9.78 does accept it too (usb0:avahi)
can i use usb0:avahi?
