It seems that some games and apps will not download to the archos because there is not enough memory. Is there a way to get these to download to the 6 gig of memory instead of the 256 meg?

Personally, I have never heard of a compactive screen, only the resistive and the capacitive type screens. Resistive is a single touuch screen and the capacitive screen is a multi touch screen. I have the stylus made for the Ipad and it works just fine as the Ipad is also a capacitive screen.

The only drawback that I have seen so far is the fact that whenever you download an app, you are going to get an email from Amazon thanking you for your order. It, or course, has a $0.00 charge on it, but to see 6 order confrimations in the email, all with different order number can be quite scary ...

I got the email from the Amazon AppStore today and did the download. All is good, I am in the U.S. AngryBirds Rio is a different take on the game as the freed birds fly away. Checking out other apps. Oh, by the way, the email stated that they have one free paid for app everyday.

Just went to Flixster.com and watched the trailer for 'I Am Number Four" on the Archos 70.

What do you mean by rotates "smooth?" My 70 has never rotated smoothly, when I change from landscape to portrait, it jumps into position. Portrait to landscape, "bang", it is there, same in reverse.
