Re: remote desktop?

I would really like to try a RDP service for my 101. What are peoples thoughts on the best of them. I would like it to hook up to my Windows Xp and Vista machines. What would you recommend? Do I need to install software on my PC's as well or is the app alone sufficient? I use PocketCloud to connect...

Thanks. I already had ES just didn't realize it had an app backup feature. I guess I have to spend some more time learning the apps I already have on here. :)

App Backups

I have a 101 and it's running firmware 2.0.71 right now, so no temp or permanent root. I was curious, does anyone know if it is possible to backup an apps .apk file without having root? I want to buy a rather expensive app, PocketCloud, but don't want to yet if I can't have a backup to reinstall if ...

Re: Bluetooth keyboards that work - a list

I have been using this Adesso bluetooth keyboard/touchpad for a few weeks now, works great, if you don't mind using a basically full size keyboard.

Re: WYSE PocketCloud

Sorry for my ignorance, but does this app allow you to transfer files from a PC to my A70 from anywhere providing my PC is switched on of course. It just allows you to remotely control the PC from anywhere, meaning you can control the keyboard and mouse and see the screen without physically being i...

Re: Mini bluetooth keyboard

I just got this bluetooth keyboard. http://www.adesso.com/en/whats-new/new-arrivals/126-wkb-4000bb.html Yikes! At $129 that's over half what I paid for my 101 tablet. Yeah I know. The only reason I went with that one was because I had $100 gift card for best buy and it was the only bluetooth keyboa...

Re: Mini bluetooth keyboard

I just got this bluetooth keyboard. http://www.adesso.com/en/whats-new/new-arrivals/126-wkb-4000bb.html I had to use the same method to pair that a lot of you mentioned above, type a pairing code into my 101, and then type the same code into the keyboard and hit enter. After that it paired right awa...

I'm running Windows 7 Home edition and I'm using PocketCloud's VNC client to connect to it. I installed TightVNC server on my Windows 7 machine, you can get it here http://www.tightvnc.com/ I installed the software as a service and it prompted me to set a VNC password during install. Re: OpenVPN and redirect-gateway ?

I have OpenVPN working successfully with my Archos 101, but I am actually using a Linux server behind my router to connect to. I'm using redirect-gw too. I think I have a newer version of OpenVPN though because some of my config file options are different from yours. However, I can think of at least...
