The official current Netflix app now shows up in the market on my Archos 70, along with a note from Netflix saying it is supported on all 2.2 and 2.3 devices.

The first time I tried, the device hung. I rebooted it and now when I try to load the 1.2.2 apk, the Package Installer thinks for a while and returns with:
